Mr. Jaap Post, Dr. Huib Silvis and Dr.Xiaoyong Zhang, from Netherlands Agricultural Economics Institute, visited IAE on invitation on Jan.14, 2003.

Dr. Lubiao Zhang, vice director general of IAE, met the visitors. Dr. Zhang introduced IAE's organization structure and recent scientific research developments to the guests. Netherlands experts presented us with latest progress of Wageningen University and research center, market process of LEI, and summarized some of the collaborative programs of LEI in China.

IAE research staffs, Prof. Weimin Li, Dr. Lizhi Zhu, Dr. Huijie Zhang, Dr. Dinghuan Hu and Dr. Zhijun Zhao, took part in the meeting. Experts from both sides extensively exchanged ideas with regard to  important and hotspot issues in the field of agriculture, and also discussed opportunities for future cooperation.
