Keming Qian, DG of IAE, attended ＾Sino-India Agricultural Policy Comparison￣ workshop
Professor Keming Qian, Director General of IAE, attended "Sino-India Agricultural Policy Comparison" workshop on April 22-28 in New Delhi, India. He gave the academic report of The Reform of Agricultural Research System and Intellectual Property Rights Protection in China in the workshop and acted as chairman for part of the workshop. this workshop, co-held by International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and Nehru University of India, aimed to discuss similarities and differences in Sino-India agricultural policy and institutions and their effects on agricultural growth and rural development. it is reported, IAE will organize in collaboration with IFPRI the second "Sino-India Agricultural Policy Comparison" workshop in the coming November in Beijing.
