Brief Introduction of IAE Consultation 

    As the national research institute in agricultural economics, IAE provides macro-policy recommendations for related sectors of central government and state department, and at the same time makes contribution to the development of agricultural economics.

The orientation of IAE consultation is to offer more sound agricultural economic decision-making suggestion and outputs to related sectors of central government and state department, strengthen service for rural economy,  provide high grade and comprehensive service for local governments and enterprises.

State Development Planning Commission awarded IAE First-rank Project Consultation and Second-rank Qualification certificate in 2000. Aimed to develop more agricultural consultation operation and tasks, IAE established wide relations with Project Consultation Center of MOA, Development and Planning Dept. of MOA, Scientech and Education Dept. of MOA, Economic and Management Station of MOA, General Agricultural Development Office of State Dept., State Food and Agriculture Centers, etc. 

Meanwhile, IAE actively develop consultation operations with local governments and enterprises. The consultation covers the following fields:

• Regional development and industry structure adjustment strategy

• Enterprise strategy on management, investment and competence

• Feasibility analysis of investment project

• Industry survey and future analysis

• Agricultural high-new technology park plan

• Technical economy analysis

• Economic benefit calculation of scientech output

At present, IAE consultation and development system has gradually formed and offers whole scale consultation and agency service.
