IAE
has established wide collaborative relations with international
academic communities. Since
1980s, IAE has conducted collaborative research, scientific visit,
Inter-appointment, lectures, international workshops with
universities, research institutions, international organizations and
scholars from America, Russia, Rumania, Australia, Netherlands,
Japan,
France,
Canada,
German, Korea, Taiwan, etc. These multiple international collaboration
and exchange advance
the scientific research, human resource development, and international
information exchange.
In
recent years, IAE has gone through the simple
academic
exchange and visits and developed concrete scientific collaborative
research projects, with universities and research
institute from many countries like America, Japan,
Australia,
Canada,
France, Netherlands, Korea, etc.
IAE obtains support from more than ten international foundations and
institutions, and established long-term stable collaboration with 7
affiliated international agricultural research centers of CGIAR. With
the deepen of foreign exchange, IAE
hired prestigious foreign scholars as visiting professor or part-time
researcher. In the meantime, a few
young scholars of IAE act as visiting professors and expert consultant
at international institutions.
Currently,
the number of scholars invited to IAE for visit, collaborative research
and science exchange exceeds 50 person- time per year, while the
number of IAE scholars go abroad to attend international conference,
science exchange and collaborative research reaches 40 person-time each
year. International collaboration and exchange widens IAE
international collaborative field, improves scientific research
and development of IAE, and plays an increasingly important role in
cultivating young researchers and boosting up scientech capability.
