MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS:

1.   Taking part in various surveys and fulfilling many researches on economic issues and government policy issues, mostly focusing agricultural sector, since the late 1980s.

2.   Taking part in many important domestic research projects as well as international collaborative research projects and international organizations’ research projects, since the late 1980s.

3.   Developing “The Database of Rural Household Survey in China” in minicomputer using ORACLE, C codes for UNIX, from 1992 to 1993. The database was granted “The Third Award in the 2nd Computer Software Valuation” in SSB, October 1993.

4.   Developing “The Application System of Rural Household Survey Database” which was aimed at promoting the application of the database mentioned above, from 1992 to 1993. This application system was granted “The Third Award of Statistical Science and Technology Progress” in SSB, September 1993.

5.   Developing “China’s Agricultural Policy Simulation and Projection Model” (CAPSiM), as one of two model designers and as the code writer.

6.   Developing “China’s food security system”, as one of two model designers and one of two computer code writers.
