1.            Education background

l       1997-2000: Agricultural Economics Department, Graduate School, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Graduated with a Doctor's Degree

l       1988-1991: Agricultural Economics Department, Graduate School, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, graduated with a Master's Degree

l       1979-1983: Math Department, Shanxi Teachers University, graduated with a Bachelor's Degree

2.            Work experiences

l       1996-present: Associated Professor, IAE, CAAS.

        Presided research programs of Rural Credit Cooperative in China's Poverty-stricken Regions (RCCCPR)：RCCCPR Performance and Impacts on the Poor (financed by Chinese Funds of Social Sciences); Consumption of Livestock Products in Urban and Rural China (financed by the Animal Husbandry Department, Ministry of Agriculture); An Economics Appraisal of Raising Cattle by Straw (financed by the Animal Husbandry Department, Ministry of Agriculture); Sustainable Development of Agriculture in Zibo Region in Shandong Province (financed by Ministry of Science and Technology); Grain Cycle and Forecast in China (financed by the Soft-Sciences Committee, Ministry of Agriculture).

        Tutoring 2 Master degree graduates, teaching Fundamental Methods of Mathematical Economics in the Graduate School of CAAS.

        Took part in research programs of China-EC jointing research program on soybean economy in China (Contract IC18-CT97-0178, 1997-2001), water-saving agricultural development in North China, and visited France INAR for two months in 1998.

l       1993-1996: Assistant Professor, IAE, CAAS.

        Presided over research programs of Standard and Measure of Land Classification, Chines Grain Supply and Demand in the early 21st Century (financed by Rural Economic Department, State Planning Commission).

        Took part in programs of Forest Structure Optimization, Animal Husbandry Development in China, and Agricultural Investment in China.

    Took part in programs of the Comprehensive Productivity of China's Agriculture, Alleviating Disaster in Pasturing Area, and Development of Forestry.

l       Third award conferred by the Soft-sciences Committee of China's Ministry of Agriculture for chairing the program of Grain Cycle and Forecast in China in 1999.

l       Third award of Science and Technology Progress by China's Ministry of Agriculture, for playing a leading role (third participant, including program leader) in the program of Economic and Environmental Development in China's Hilly Areas, 1996

l       Third award of Science and Technology Progress by Beijing Municipal Government for a major role (third participant, including program leaders) in the program of Human Capital Demand in Beijing's Agricultural Development during 2000-2010, 1995

l       Both Second award of excellent papers prize by IAE, CAAS, for China's Grain Cycles, and the Relations Between Grain Price and Inflation, 1994, 1995

l       Excellent Research Award by China's Ministry of Agriculture in for an agricultural survey, 1993
