- 1993 As a major researcher, took part in ACIAR #8811 project
entitled “Economic Aspects of
Raw Wool Production and Marketing in China”, which collaborated
with the University of Queensland, Australia, and published a Chinese
language book -- “Economic Aspects of Raw Wool
Production and Marketing in China”.
Oct.
- Dec. 1992 In
preparation for the ASSP (Agricultural Support services Project,
supported by the World Bank), took part in an organizational review on
the center, provincial, prefecture, county and township livestock
service infrastructure and finished a survey report -- Animal Husbandry Service infrastructure Reorganization.

- July 1995
As a Chinese livestock development expert, evaluated the
feasibility of “West Henan
Agricultural Development Project” Supported by the Asian
Development Bank.

a member of Steering Committee of ILRI, involved “Assessment
of Animal Agriculture in Asia”, and ILRI/ADB CASREN Project

Research Report on China Small holder Beef Cattle Development Project

As a project leader in Chinese partner, a new ACIAR #9502 project
entitled “An Analysis of
Socio-Economic and Agribusiness Development in the Chinese Cattle and
Beef Industry” be implementing and collaborated with the
University of Queensland, Australia. Edited two books: “The
Chinese Cattle and Beef Industry in China” (in Chinese) and “Efficiency
in China’s Cattle and Beef Industry” (both in Chinese and
English).
Feb.
- March, 1998 Organized and
prepared a report of “Beef Market Analysis in China” for China Small holder Beef
Cattle Development Project, which entrusted by the WB Department within
the Ministry of Finance.
Nov.
1999 - April 2000 As a livestock
economist, contracted by the World Bank to conduct and prepared a report
of "Study
of the Marketing of Sheep Products" with Dr. Derek Baker
for the project preparation of "Livestock and Aquaculture Breeding
Improvement Project (CN-PE-65035)" in China.

part in preparing a country report on the State of the World’s
Animal Genetic Resources (SoW-AnGR) organized by FAO.
